I made this for breakfast this morning and I'm hooked! I saved some for Chris, but I've slowly been picking at his plate too. I found the original recipe at allrecipes.com but I changed it a little bit after seeing this video on YouTube

My recipe is for four French Peanut & Banana Sandwiches:

Peanut Butter
Honey
8 Pieces of Bread
2 Big Bananas
2 Eggs
1 Teaspoon of Vanilla Essence
1 Cup of Milk
1 Teaspoon of Cinnamon
Oil or Butter (to fry)

  1. In a bowl, beat the eggs, milk, cinnamon and vanilla together
  2. Spread peanut butter onto four pieces of bread, and honey on 4 other pieces of bread.
  3. Chop up bananas and place on the pieces of bread covered in honey.
  4. Make four sandwiches, each with one bread with peanut butter and one bread with honey and banana
  5. In a big pan, melt butter or oil over medium heat to cook.
  6. Dip the sandwich into the egg mixture and then place in pan. Cook until golden/brown.
  7. After all sandwhiches are done, put them in the oven and bake at 180 degrees for 5-10 minutes.
  8. Serve toast in triangles, dusted with icing sugar
Yum :)
